Our client is a fast-growing, multi-billion global group with a strong balance sheet and ambitious capital deployment plans across several asset classes. The culture is entrepreneurial, direct and outcome-focused. The corporate finance function is built in-house, without reliance on banks or consultancies to “run the process,” and requires senior people who are willing to lead from the front.

The position

Senior leadership role, focused on large-scale capital raising in the US. New York, Extensive travel, deal captain, primary counterpart to board, banks and financial institutions. Corporate and local market experience a must.

Tasks & responsibilities

In this highly demanding role, you lead US-based treasury and corporate finance activities with a clear focus on fundraising and balance sheet development. You take full ownership of US DCM, bank financing and institutional funding processes, translating strategic funding objectives into executable transactions.

You manage senior relationships with banks and financial institutions and represent the group in high-level negotiations. Internally, you work closely with the CFO and senior business leadership, while guiding and prioritizing the work of the VP and supporting team members.

The role is execution-heavy, with significant capital requirements linked to major developments, and requires constant presence with financing partners across key US locations.

Candidate profile

You bring a proven track record in leading large and complex funding processes in a corporate (non-advisory, non-banking) environment. You built your track record in asset-heavy companies and have a track record in funding in companies with a non-investment grade rating.

You are comfortable taking responsibility for (multi-)billion funding programs and thrive in situations where speed, judgment and ownership matter more than process. You combine strategic thinking with a strong execution mindset and are credible with senior banking counterparts. You are highly mobile, resilient, and motivated by building something rather than maintaining structure.

The offer

Total compensation is highly competitive and positioned at upper treasury leadership levels within the US market, including discretionary bonus potential. The salary can go up to $1.5 million.
