The position

& Female Capital is searching for an (Senior) Manager Compliance Advice for a growing consultancy organization (BearingPoint).

Tasks & responsibilities

What Context will you work?

Banks must survive in turbulent times of political uncertainty, compete with new business models, lead in the digital age and focus on sustainability. How can they comply with complex laws and regulations, fix their data and extract insights from advanced analytics.
The Banking & Capital Markets (BCM) team were you will be working in, helps financial institutions to improve commercial and operational performance.  They reimagine how organisations operate to deliver for their customers, employees, and wider stakeholders. This may be by examining and reimagining operating models, complying with new (sustainability) regulations, implementing new ways of working, new technologies, or delivering digital transformation.  
Become part of the team to set the highest standards for the integrity and responsibility of banks with the compliance landscape of the future. Support our customers "end-to-end" in dealing with this area of tension in the following topics:

Strategic future viability of the compliance function: Strengthen corporate governance through the strategic design and further development of the compliance function towards holistic compliance management, taking into account (inter)national regulations and standards.

Operationalization and implementation readiness: You analyze the effects of regulatory requirements in the compliance environment and accompany our customers from the preliminary study to the conception of measures to the implementation of these in processes, methods and IT systems.

You can focus on the following areas:

Compliance management: (Further) development of compliance organizations in terms of organizational structure and processes, development of future-proof operating models and compliance strategies and regulatory compliance for the comprehensive and harmonized management of the main types of compliance risk

Digital compliance: Conception of an efficient and future-proof IT architecture, implementation of suitable system components, digitalization of associated processes through the increasing use of cloud, AI and big data

Capital market compliance: Strategic, tactical and operational development of the capital market/securities compliance function

Non-financial risk management: Managing non-financial risks in the areas of data protection, information security, outsourcing and business continuity management and control & summary of individual risks in an effective non-financial risk management framework (NFRM). 

What impact will you make?

You will work as a (Senior) Manager Compliance in the financial services sector with a variety of projects. As (Senior) Manager Compliance, you will lead and manage compliance initiatives across banks, asset managers or insurance companies, among others. This role is pivotal for the growth ambition of BearingPoint’s Financial Services team while fostering a culture of compliance innovation and ensuring our clients meet regulatory requirements. As senior manager you do have responsibility to generate revenue. However, you’ll never do it alone. For example, proposals are made by and with a team at your disposal or colleagues will join you visiting clients. We are also making use of a business development manager who can introduce you at clients.

Candidate profile

As a (Senior) Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problems solvers, helping clients to solve their complex challenges. The professional skills and responsibilities of a (Senior) Manager include, but are not limited to:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, understand the Dutch financial services sector and have a strong business network.
• Demonstrate proven in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, best practices in financial services and/or success in roles with managing compliance-related engagements.
• Knowlegde about the regulation around AML (anti mone laundering) and ESG
• Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to support the continuous growth and build relationships with internal and external clients. 
• Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required.
• Encourage everyone to have a voice and invite opinion from all, including the more introvert members of the team.
• Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations, move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
