The organisation
Our client is an international service provider.
The position
- Leading the (global) engineering department comprising 300+ people.
- Developing the engineering strategy and contribute to the vision and strategy and translate this into plans for engineering office.
- Building and leading the engineering management office that is focussed on delivering successful engineering projects.
- Working closely together with peers from the commercial and operations department to deliver financially successful projects.
- Ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality, realistic, profitable and innovative design, value engineering, and providing engineering support to projects in execution.
Candidate profile
- Proven track record in an Engineering leadership roles in (international) highly-complex multidisciplinary project organisations
- Experience in the maritime and/or offshore industry. Experience with offshore energy is preferred
- Master’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Strong stakeholder development skills and ability to manage/influence across and up in the organisation without direct reporting responsibility
- Excellent command of the English language
