The position

As Director of Lifecycle Services at Key Technology, you lead the aftermarket business across EMEA and Asia. You will be responsible for a profit centre P&L, for aftermarket parts and field service. In addition to having responsibility for all commercial parts and service sales activities, you direct the coordination of technical and administrative service and support activities, including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, training, warranty, engineering changes, and upgrades to be performed at client sites.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive aftermarket strategy aligned with the Lifecycle Services business model, including market methodologies, delivery approaches, and pricing structures
  • Provide commercial leadership across all aftermarket areas, implementing sales programs and service marketing initiatives that drive revenue and margin growth
  • Lead a multifaceted team including Aftermarket Sales, Service Managers, Training specialists, Parts Department Managers, and field technicians
  • Manage department budgeting, expense control, staff training, and warranty cost management to optimize profitability and operational efficiency
  • Conduct market analysis and develop new service products such as contracts, extended warranties, and customer training programs responsive to market opportunities
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting on aftermarket growth, profitability metrics, and key performance indicators to internal leadership and parent company stakeholders
  • Actively influence cross-functional departments to reduce warranty exposure and enhance overall operational performance

Candidate profile

You demonstrate strong change leadership capabilities and excel at cross-functional collaboration in matrixed environments. Your communication proficiency enables you to build commitment and consensus across organizational levels, customers, and partners. You adopt a holistic systems perspective, empathize with multiple viewpoints, and challenge assumptions to drive strategic thinking and operational improvement.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business field with 10+ years of work experience
  • Minimum 5 years in comparable management positions with P&L responsibility
  • Strong financial acumen, business analysis, and strategy development capabilities
  • Experience in food processing, field service, or equipment aftermarket operations
  • Proficiency with Office 365, CRM systems, and ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of operations, logistics, manufacturing, and engineering processes
  • Experience in a matrix organisation
